“Talk about life changing. My house was inundated with outdated toys, books, art supplies, puzzles and chaos. My dining room table was my storage area, as was every other nook and cranny I could find to stuff pencils, crayons and paints into. The disorder became our normal. It wasn’t until Melissa was over for a play date and made a few suggestions that I ever even realized this problem had a solution! She quickly assessed the situation, made suggestions for organizational furniture, and got to work! My living room was transformed into a beautiful space that was not only aesthetically appealing but a super functional play area for my twin preschoolers! It changed the way they played as they could find things, and they even help to clean up! Melissa has a keen eye for design and functionality. She also helped me create a foyer where my family could organize our coats, jackets, shoes and backpacks! Melissa is talented, easy to work with and efficient. Melissa helped me organize multiple rooms in my home. The most valuable thing was setting up play zones and organizing toys in such a way that my 4-year-old could find and put away the toys she wants to play with. It’s easy to swap out toys and also easy to keep sets or small pieces organized and together. I like that it makes clean-up easier when everything has a place. She also helped me sort through my toys into age-appropriate and development oriented, and not be overwhelmed with options. Some of my favorite solutions are the zipper bags for games or puzzles or sets (I use for play-doh!) and her help with getting all our arts and crafts supplies corralled. Thank you and we will definitely use for a refresh and as our kids get older and their needs change.

Working with Melissa was an easy decision. When we first worked together, my girls were 3.5 and 8 months. Totally different playing methods and totally different types of toys for each! Melissa walked me through her process, we talked through what my priorities were (dedicated play space downstairs, smaller/accessible play space in the kitchen) and she came armed and ready to attack my space. Fast forward 8 months later, I had a very active toddler and a 4+ year old that was more interested in arts and crafts than playing. Not a good combo! Melissa again came to the rescue. We swapped out toys, donated items, re-labeled and reorganized. My kids were immediately interested in their toys again, even though they were all the same! Changing the space has brought new interest to their play time and I couldn't have done this without Melissa's help and expertise.

Just in time for quarantine, Melissa helped me contain the chaos that was in my home office/kids’ art room. She helped me find the right storage for all items and made much better use of the space. Now the kids can easily access all their art supplies, and my home office can still be kept in order (so I can work!). Melissa has a great sense of style – not only for organization but also décor.
